The Art of Living Welcoming Spring Retreat

Ok, Storytime:

When I was growing up we were always the house that hosted the parties on New Years and the Fourth of July. I grew up being a part of “the host house” and into my adult life I’ve always loved hosting.

I also grew up going to music festivals twice a year for forever and I remember always being enamored with the folks who would pull up in their sprinter vans and unload their booths full of incense and tapestries and clothing that was handmade and hand -dyed far away. I always loved, even at 10 years old, how they could create “a whole vibe” so quickly. Those hippies could transform two EZup tents into an oasis of culture and community, with some really cool crystals on the side.

As some of you may know, I decided to become a yoga teacher while I was on retreat in Guatemala in 2018. Since I’ve become a yoga teacher I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to go on retreat three times.

These inflection points have helped me to deepen my practices, realign myself and come back to what’s important and why I am doing all of this. The short version of all of this: Putting on a retreat has been a dream of mine since BEFORE I was certified to teach yoga. It feels like a total dream that weaves together so many things I love. Yoga, amazing food, bringing people together, self reflection and MOTHER NATURE.

So, if you feel the call feel free to join us on this beautiful retreat. It is surely to be an experience filled with many openings and lots of relaxation for all involved.
